Please note: The Highlands or the Amazon can each be explored on their own as a complete trip. The Amazon may be visited as a single day-trip or multi-day excursion, and it can also be combined with a Highlands itinerary for a richer and more diverse experience. The Galápagos Islands, however, require more time and generally cannot be combined with the Highlands or Amazon unless your trip is extended beyond 7–8 days, due to flight schedules and the time needed to fully enjoy the islands.
